House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

A House Tour and a Mystery

This gem dates back to 1932

For years, I have heard about Abby Hobbs. Abby, Abby, Abby.  Church circles, PTA circles, neighborhood circles, sport circles and out and about on the social scene!
Who is this elusive woman?
When I posted "Run Route Specials", spotlighting houses I stalk  admire along my run route- it was brought to my attention that Abby's house was one of them!
And then, while discussing paint colors with a friend, said friend mentioned that she admired the colors in her friend- ABBY HOBBS' home!
Shut the front door.  Back the truck up.  Get outaaaaa here!
Enough is enough.
Our 576th mutual friend arranged a meeting!
Abby was everything (and more!) that I had heard about over the years!  She was charming and welcoming and gracious!
Her house totally reflected her cheery personality!
So, get your coffee and take a lookiloo at Abby's lovely home!

Instead of gutting her dark, paneled, and dated kitchen, Abby transformed it with lots of white and lime green paint!

See how elusive she is?
Hydrangeas adorn the outside as well as the inside of Abby's home!
Mystery solved. One Abby Hobbs revealed!
