House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

Halloween P & P- Parade and Par-taaay!

When my husband and I were looking for a house to call home, we narrowed our search to a 6 block square.

I loved the older homes.
I loved the individual character of each home.
I loved the big honkin' mature trees.
I loved that a small park was the hub of this neighborhood.
I loved the "it takes a village" community feel.

I am so thankful that we found a house to call home in this neighborhood. (I'll obsess more about this in an upcoming post about our Halloween Trick or Treating experience!)

On Sunday, our neighborhood park hosted a Halloween Parade & Party! Even though it was cold and the rain attempted dampen our fun, we had a fantastic time with our neighbors and friends.

Those dern agents know what they are talking about when they say "Location, location, location!"

  1. What beautiful photos and looks like a fun parade! I love all the different colors of fall. We don't really get that here in Texas - we either have green or dead.
