House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

All That Glitters...

*I'm trying to get in the holiday spirit by looking at last year's posts...

Well...I made it two weeks before changing up my holiday tablescape. Some kind of record in these parts.
Here was the first tablescape of the season:

Feeling like a slacker, I changed things up today! Take a lookiloo...

I went a tad wild with white Christmas lights...on the table, on the tree, on the buffet...on the children...

Are you a "one shot" holiday decorator or do you change it up as you go?

  1. Currently on my dining room table are three lego vehicles, spilled crumbs from my kids eating breakfast, a laptop and unopened mail. I'm moving in to your house. Set me up a bed.

  3. Looks lovely. I change things up as I go, all month long. Wish I could just decorate and be done with it but I keep going and going.

  6. Love it! I never even considered changing it up. Once it's up I am done...maybe next year I will have to try a little change mid-holiday!

  11. Lovely! I'm so jealous!

Half the time I don't even do a tree, although my special needs son is getting older and will probably start insisting on a tree, ornaments, lights.

I think I'll decorate him with lights!

Thanks for linking up to the holiday hop!

  12. Stunning and puts me to shame - I hardly decorate at all. I'm hoping that as the kids get older they will inspire me to do more.
