House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

Christmas Is A Time For Giving!

Some people (even some who call themselves "friend" or "husband") might say that I have a competitive  nature.
If my 6 year old makes a basket during a little game of pick up basketball, I dunk on her. Not because of a "competitive nature" but so that she can see what she should strive for.
When I see the Salvation Army guy ringing his bell in the freezing cold, I think to myself,  "Self, how can I be a better giver like him?"
Well, my answer came to me this morning.
When I came across this video at Divine Secrets Of A Domestic Diva, I realized that I had to share it with the world.
My first thought was that I would take my laptop to Walmart (or as my Indiana relatives call it- The Walmarts) and set up "Operation Laugh" next to my pal, Mr. Salvation Army. NOT because of a "competive nature" but to give a little giggle to folks who were about to spend hundreds of dollars on crap that they don't need!
Unlike Mr. Salvation Army, I'm not willing to stand outside for long stretches without booze in the cold.
So, I decided to share this video on HouseTalkN!
Please, share my generous gift with your friends, family, neighbors, cellmates and grumpy co-workers!

If this video can turn just one frown upside down, my Christmas will be so merry.

  1. Thanks for sharing! I'm so glad that you're a giver and that you enjoyed the video! Hope you have a fabulous holiday!

  2. Oh my heck!! I am cracking up! Susan is freakin' hilarious. I am so glad that you shared this! My sisters are going to love it.
