We are going on our annual tree hunt & chop this weekend. Once the tree is trimmed, I will add greenery to every mantle, table,
Here is a lookiloo at my pre-greenery mantle:
And then...THE SUN ACTUALLY CAME OUT!

| I had a burst of domestic energy while pregnant with my 4th and made these stockings...yes, I did. |
Do you do a themed mantle or just go wild and throw in everything you can fit?

I love this. So so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed by these pictures! They're so good! Oh, and the mantel is pretty too. lol Looks good without any greenery, so I'm anxious to see it with.
ReplyDeleteI love you mantel! Very glam! I'm trying to stay with a theme...I just go little crazy! Excellent job!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about winter whites! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSuper cool the way it looks so different with the sunlight. It looks great now and I'm sure will be even prettier with a few pine boughs. We don't do anything themed for our Christmas decorations. This year, we put Advent candles and two nativities on the mantle.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteThe stockings are perfection!
It's ALREADY so beautiful. Love it. And hurray for you for using a fresh tree. I haven't done it in years & I'm too chicken to go back now!
ReplyDeleteWarmly, Michelle
Luv it - we have two live trees - his & mine! Mine very simple - only white lights and glass icicles -his multi lights and all different ornaments !!! Main floor of house simple w/lots of white lights including mantle. Lower level all sorts of colors. Everyone is happy oh yea, I'm not allowed to touch his tree!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat mantle! I love that you show how to decorate a mantle WITHOUT greenery.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS!!!!! Can you come over and do mine?
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Amazing what the sun does to pictures, huh? Visiting from Serenity Now.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSo sparkly and beautiful! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI am so traditional it's sickening -- a lot of family heirlooms. Every ornament has some personal meaning so I just do a rearrangement of the same old every year;)
ReplyDeleteOnly the tree with lights is up so far since we are very busy with our Christmas choir, rehearsing and now our first concert tonight.
You'd love my walls -- sand cherry wine and deep green walls -- dark wood everywhere -- naturally Christmassy :)
Oops1 I Forgot to complement your photography -- great closeups -- and a lovely mantel arrangement as well.
ReplyDeleteAll my blog photos are mine too, I love taking pics.
Simple and elegant and I love it. I always have trouble spelling mantle/mantel,too!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love it. I love the mercury glass ornaments. I'm a new follower! I hope you'll follow me back!

ReplyDeleteLove that subtle color and sparkle :) Either way, mantel or mantle, it's gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! I love silver!! I seem to always go a bit overboard with my mantle. I tried to stay calm this year. Still need to post pictures of it. It's actually the best I think I've ever done, so that's a start, right!! Love the simple beauty of yours. I wish I knew when to stop! :S
