House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

Is George Turning Judgie-Judgerson?

When I was shooting pictures for "How To Add Color...Turn 40!" I felt like I was being watched. Sure enough, there was my sweet puppy Big George. But...something was different.

Instead of his usual happy "Let's play and roll around and mess stuff up" face, he had a puzzled "What is wrong with you?" face.
I dare say he looked judgie...like if SNL's church lady had been a dog.
I realize that it might look a bit odd to see me crouched over a vase or picture frame with my camera...mumbling about rainy days killing my lighting mojo.

He has been kind of distant since that whole vlog thing.
Maybe I embarrassed him.
Maybe he's been talking to my husband. My mister didn't think it was funny either.
Maybe Big George's testosterone is kicking in and soon, he too will not get my jokes!
Maybe he's saying a "little prayer against" me!

By the way I love all the white in your home. I could never do white, although I wish I could but I would have a hell of a time keeping it clean. :/

    1. Hi, Karla. I just use a Panasonic point and shoot. UNLESS, I sweet talk my gal pal into borrowing her Nikon D90 which rocks my socks!

  8. Too funny! My dogs clear out of a room when they see me get out the camera, so I can relate to this post.

  9. lol. My dogs do the same thing. But they follow me all around the house and somehow walk right in front of the camera. Or they get wore out and hide in the bedroom!
