House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

This Dream Home Could Be Yours!

                                                               FOR SALE!
I totally plan my run routes around beautiful house lookiloos. This is a house that sits on a stately, elegant street alongside our local country club.
For over a year, I have obsessed wondered about this house. "What is it like inside?" and "Why isn't is selling?"
I was beyond thrilled when the owners graciously agreed to a tour!

A lovely country club view
As I was touring the home, I kept thinking that if I could just win the %^#$ lottery, I could buy this house! Considering that I don't play the lottery, this plan seems weak.
Plan B: get someone I know to buy this house so that I can visit on a regular basis and pretend to live here!
This house needs a family that can make it a home again! There is a basketball hoop just waiting for a game of h-o-r-s-e!
Not only am I going to give you a lookiloo, but I am also going to share my visions for what this house could be. It could be the transformation of a lifetime!

The Backyard Cottage
(I could blog my little heart out in this space!)

The old saying "Location, location, location" couldn't be more fitting for this gem of a house.

  2. Oh. My. Gads. Where is this house again...?
I LOVE the brick in the family room and the entire kitchen. I don't play the lottery either. You don't happen to have a single friend that wouldn't mind marrying a 90 year-old billionaire with a heart condition, do you?
