House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

Signs Of Spring...

You might remember my bird flipping friend, Tracy? Camera Shy. Tough Talker. Straight Shooter.
She doesn't fool me.
I can count on her to give it to me straight. But, I can also count on her for her kindness and her support. She is the first person to say "That a girl"...as well as the first person to say "What the @#$% were you thinking?!?"
Fearing any gushing, she leaves things like this on my doorstep and burns rubber out of my driveway.
It's the grown-up version of a "ding-dong-ditch!"

She knows I love hydrangeas. She knows I am obsessed with all things white. She knows that I am a sucker for a handwritten note.

I know that she is the kind of friend to give me "thank you" flowers when she is the one that needs thanking.

    1. I am a lucky girl. Don't judge me for saying it, but my cup runneth over.

  4. So maybe you would rather not have a cat coming in and leaving a comment, but well, had to. You see I was sipping my milk and being that "she" loves white and hydrangeas, I thought I would check out this post for "her". Kind of like screening calls type of thing, but well the truth of the matter is that "she" left "her" glass of milk here by the computer and seeing the milk and the computer I thought I could be helpful. So here I am reading your comment, drinking my milk....peaceful contentment.....until I got to the burning rubber out of the driveway thing....and then I MOL and the milk came out my nose....and well so much for peaceful contentment! I mean have you ever had milk come out your nose because you started laughing too hard??? No? Well trust me - it's not milk contentment but to have a good laugh...well THAT was worth it all :) So there, you've been visited by me - Romeo, the ferocious, the cat ;)

    1. Hi, Romeo. This is Whitacre. I get blamed for everything around here, especially since they got that stupid dog. Stop wasting perfectly good milk.
      Signed,
      Best cat ever

  5. What a great ding dong ditching friend! I love me some hydrangeas too. Trying to grow some in my way too shady front and back yards. The only thing I seem to have success in growing are monster mutant weeds ...

    :)

    1. I had some puny hydrangeas for 3 years. When I moved them last summer, they went nuts! I didn't know they were so moody!
