House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

A House Tour...

In our house, we use two phrases to describe the Franz family.
"They are the nicest family on the planet."
"They are the cutest family on the planet."
The Franz family lives in our Clark Park neighborhood and they are often out walking, biking or playing in the park.
Take a lookiloo at the home that Gentzy and Lori have created for their lovely family.

Their home is full of family photos and treasures. Lori is a DIY girl and has turned this house into a home.

The perfect mix of vintage and new...
This wallpapered wall gives a pop to their kitchen.
 Fun postcards become artwork.

Expecting their fourth child in July, the nursery is ready. Stay tuned for a full nursery post!
The West Elm light fixtures in the master bedroom act as bedside lamps.

The sunroom is as bright and cheery as the Franz family!

Living in a college town, we have seen so many great families come and go. We are currently in negotiations with the Franz family to sign a "We Will Never Move" contract.
In the meantime, check out Gentzy's blog-

  13. Gorgeous house! They have done an awesome job! And do you have some kind of "minimum kid" rule in your neighborhood? Does everyone have a houseful? If so, there are plenty of extras to send me.
