  1. I just bought a silver candlestick like that today. And I love, absolutely love, those pink peonies. I have white ones, which are beautiful, but I love the jewel tone of that pink. Very pretty!

  2. Thank you! These peonies were here when we bought our house many years ago. I love thinking of the previous owner cutting them, too!

  4. I've been involved in a sordid love affair with peonies for as long as I can remember. They're just so beautiful. :)

  5. I used to hate how short-lived our peonies were (one big rain always did them in) but wow, they're really spectacular when you can enjoy them, aren't they. Great pics.

    1. When my herd of elephant children run by, I can see petals quivering or flying through the air!
      Thanks, Terry!

  6. Kerry,

Your peonies are amazing. Do enjoy them in the short period you have them.

Mine are showing a few buds but nothing has burst forth yet, hope they do soon....all in all the garden isn't what it was last year in blooms and I can only blame the weird weather,
