House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

A Makeover Story...

You might remember that I am going through a bit of a life makeover. To help me along, Ali at Findings Boutique offered to help me out in the clothing department.
I ping pong between my "teacher clothes" and my favorite oldies
(Like my skirt with holes and my party hat!)
I invited some of my gal pals to a night out at Findings!
We all arrived in our regular getty-ups and vowed to try on new and different things.
Ali challenged us to try on pieces that we normally would not choose.
Here is a lookiloo at our shenanigans.
Our "Before" shots:
The Cowgirl

The Preppy

The Funky

The Sporty

The Chic
It's time to play dress up!

Ali was so helpful and patient...we are a rowdy bunch...

 Seeing Double?

Say WHAT??

What is going to cover this flesh belt??
I get by with a little help from my friends.

Do you have a clear cut style or do you change it up?

I have *zero* style, now that menopause has made things difficult.

  5. SO CUTE!

That shot almost made me spew my tea all over my monitor!

Style? WELL when I stopped working Corporate America I gave away all my career wear....and since then I have been told I dress nicely in girlie clothes for Sunday church and like a casual slob the rest of the time.

I like comfy, it becomes me.

    1. I am all over the place. I think of it as "costume changes"! Sporty, funky, preppy, whatever. The only thing I refuse to wear is a themed sweater!

  7. All of your "before" pictures are 1000 times more stylish than what I cobble together for my best "after" looks, justsoyaknow. That looks like tons of fun, though!
