My Haven Conference NIGHTMARE!

I just returned from the Haven Conference in Atlanta and my brain is reeling from all that I learned and the abs that I didn't know had even survived the baby marathon hurt from laughing so much!
Whoever comes up with the best headline for this shot, wins one Bud Light from HouseTalkN!
As I collapsed into my own bed last night, I fell asleep wondering "What if I forget EVERYTHING?!?"
Catch phrases and tips and blog names and tutorials were flashing through my brain like a 70's disco reel!
GOOGLE JUICE! ALT TAGS! YOUNG HOUSE LOVE! WATERFALL EFFECT! HTML! URL! SEO! OMG! HOOKED ON HOUSES! APARTMENT THERAPY! RSS!
Take a lookiloo into my nightmare:
"WHAT IF I FORGET EVERYTHING?!?"

I have a few friends that attended Haven {Beth from Unskinny Boppy who was in one of your photos} and goodness I wish I could have been there. I'm sure I would be a ball of anxiety at first because a room full of beautiful and craft women is SUPER intimidating for me, but it sounds like everyone was very down to earth and fun. :)

  30. The sound on my monitor has been out for a few days, so I watched your video before and just tried to read your lips. Had no idea what you were saying about me or anything else. Finally was able to hear it today and you cracked me up. (Love that there was applause for the photo of the two of us! You're a sweetheart.)

Okay, here's my entry to the photo caption contest, because you know my mama dropped me on my head as a child:

  37. Ok I supportcha and all but I gotta complain. Your voice on your videos is soooo soft I can't hear you. So I have to put my laptop up to my ear like it is a freakin boom box. But then, one of the sound effects (which are VERY easy to hear) comes on and makes me deaf (like TNT commercials). And besides, when I have the computer up to my ear, I can't see your pretty face! Maybe your techy/bloggy friend could help you out? Or did you learn about that at Haven maybe? Looks like you had a wonderful time. Glad for you. Hey, were having a party next weekend - would love to see your face there!

  39. Kerry,
Your video nightmare was hilarious! (But then, I'm wondering if it's politically correct for me to laugh at someone's deepest darkest fears...). My conference nightmare is that everyone will forget ME. They'll look back at their pictures and think, "Who is this girl with the big teeth who keeps randomly appearing in my photos?". Loved meeting you at Haven. You're both witty and wonderful!

I can't stop laughing!! You are one awesome Chicky!! Your video should be an Oscar contender. That's what we should do is every year have a vote to see who gets the Oscar blogger. What would the statue look like. Ha-ha I can see your mind working now!! Can't wait to see what you pick!! Looks like you and the ladies had a blast! Good for you!!
