House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

My Husband Is A Better Person Than I Am

There is one in every relationship. The "better" one.
When I meet a couple, I always wonder which one would laugh if I took an awkward, drawn out, ugly fall.
In my marriage, my husband is the "better one" and I am the mad cackler.
Meet me In The Powder Room today and I will explain why.
Are you a sympathizer or a cackler?

  1. I have to tell you a funny story! I am always after my husband to put the lid down on the commode so we don't walk in and look at a bowl full of water. Oh, and he sits down to do both of his businesses, bless his heart. One morning, he went in and shortly after, I heard all kinds of hollering. He had sat down on the closed lid and mashed all his toys in the process. He was not happy, but I could not stop laughing. I felt terrible for his pain, however, my sympathy could not win out over my laughter. I still laugh about it, he does not! :) I love you 'off' story, that was great! And I love your husband's response, too.
