My Living Room Gets A POP Of Color!

You might recall that I am afraid of color love a shades of white color scheme. I've been known to shake it up here and there...like the time I went wild with these gray pillows.
I borrowed 5 colorful pieces from my favorite local shop, Checkered Moon. I moved these pieces from my bedroom, to the sunroom and back to the living room. The living room is where the most people would be the most shocked by my bold color additions! 
These items were in my house for three hours and no less than five friends and family members asked if I had a) been drinking or b) robbed Checkered Moon. I'm happy to report that I am not a thief.

  3. Haha! That's great! I too love white but everytime someone asks me what color I'm going to paint something my son pipes in with "White, I'm e sure." What does he know? I had to branch out just to prove him wrong. The sunny yellows look fantastic against all that white, I might add!

  13. VERY fun accessories! One time a decorator came to my house to accessorize and brought WAY more items than I had told her I had a budget for but she insisted that I "live" with all the pieces for a few days. I was terrified that someone would spill or ruin some of the things that I knew I could not keep before I got them back to her. Those "pop-y" pieces from Checkered Moon are really cute.
