House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

Mammogram Day!

Last week, I shared with you that I am the worst patient on the planet. (See BoobTalkN) I asked for your support on my mammogram adventure and you delivered!
As you might suspect, I deal with stress and anxiety with humor. When in doubt, I laugh. Thank you for sharing your sometimes funny and your always moving stories.
Here is a lookiloo into "MAMMOGRAM DAY!"

Thank you to Christie Clinic and their "Mammogram Mafia" for making my mammogram day go so smoothly. Please go check out and VOTE for their "Pink Glove Dance" video.

  3. So cute! Where can I find a place that will send dancers to pick me up! My mammogram joint is like a spa, except they squeeze my boobage instead of give me a facial. They should at least offer a facial for when you're done. Actually, I was so surprised the first time I went to find out it's not NEAR as bad as everyone claims it is. I've had worse encounters at the TSA checkpoint!

    1. I did not have the urge to punch anyone in the throat! It was so easy peasy!
A facial would be a great incentive, huh?
      Thanks, Jen!

  4. My least favorite part when I had my first one was that I was wear knitted leggings and boots and they told me to just take off my top. They didn't tell me that I'd feel like such a horse's butt when they actually did the mammogram and I was standing there in leggings and boots. So not flattering.

    1. Oh, no! I changed into the standard gown beforehand, also not flattering.

  7. Hey Kerry!!!!

My first one showed a tumor and I wasn't prepared for any trouble. I wanted to hear your fine, now on your way. For 2 weeks I lived in fear. Talked to the family and we were prepared for the worst.

Went in for the removal op and waited another 2 weeks for the results. It came back as "No cancer found." With a cry of relief I thought of all those women who heard "It's cancer". How devastating it would be.

So I've become a strong supported of the breast cancer cause. Thank you for the video!! I'm soooooo happy everything turned out for the best.

    Lots of love and hugs!!!
    Pam

    1. Oh, Pam. I bet you were so frightened. I kept thinking of how it must feel to get "the news."
