House TalkN is a fun lookiloo at houses, houses, houses. It will answer pressing questions like, "When folks build a McMansion on a small lot, what are they compensating for?" or "Was the real estate agent drunk when they staged this house?" or "Why don't the Smiths' ever leave their drapes open when I am on a harmless walk-by?"

A Look Back At 2013

2013 was a whirlwind! As I pulled up my most viewed posts for 2013, I kept thinking, "Wow, I need to exercise more a lot happened in 2013!"
Here is a look back at 2013...
The women in my neighborhood formed a mom office- The Moffice!
I learned about "Shakey Face" with some of my favorite bloggers at the BlogHer Conference.
I left my heart in Haiti.
I braved the stage at Listen To Your Mother and lived to tell about it.
I joined some muthafunny women to bring you two anthologies- I Just Want To Pee Alone and You Have Lipstick On Your Teeth.
I stalked admired my favorite local houses.
I bribed my friends to let me share their homes with you.
My moffice-mates became my sho-conspirators to bring a live show for and about women called That's What She Said.
I wrapped up the year with some Elf On The Shelf shenanigans.
The common thread throughout all of these moments? Amazing people. I have been blessed with so many talented, generous, funny, kind, supportive, and adventurous people. My cup runneth over.
Thank you for taking this wild ride with me.
